Regina Angelorum believes in the importance of protecting the innocence of childhood through our Wait Until (After) 8th Pledge.
Parents at Regina Angelorum take the Wait Until After 8th Pledge as a requirement of enrollment in our school. By taking this pledge, our parents promise to hold off on providing technology like smart phones and connected devices until after 8th grade. Connected devices can be tremendously distracting and potentially dangerous for children. It is a source of bullying. And through the internet, children can be exposed to inappropriate content. These are just a few reasons how mobile devices and social media are a threat to the wholesomeness of childhood.
